Pictured are Christina Van Cleve of Safe Passage and Susan Hall, owner of Kids Caboose in downtown Moberly. Visitors to Kids Caboose are invited to drop coins into the train bank located next to their kid-size caboose. The crossing-guard bank has flashing lights and a train whistle. The money collected in 2007 was handed over to Safe Passage recently. Safe Passage is a local shelter for victims of domestic abuse. Kids Caboose offers quality consigned children's items.
Locals will know our location as the former Dr. Preston's office, or even the original Nola Leach building, next to the old JC Penney's location.
We recently had a major update to our building front, giving us loads of window display space and allowing tons of natural light into our shop.
The renovation uncovered a hidden treasure, too! The original tile entry for the Nola Leach building was hiding under the old breezeway floor. It has been uncovered and is now a part of our entryway!
Kids will be busy while Mom shops, playing in our fun "real" caboose play house. Here being given a proper test run by our resident 4 year old train expert!
